About Our Pastor

Our pastor, Robert Boelk, was called to the church on May 1st, 2005. He and his wife of 35 years, Heidi, have four children who are married. They are also the proud grandparents of five beautiful granddaughters, Anessa Marie Boelk, Alexandra Rose Boelk, Victoria Marie Boelk, Lilly Rayne Yadeski, and Bailie Shelby Boelk.

Pastor Bob, who has a Masters Degree in Music, also has completed his training in Biblical Counseling through the Royal Palm Biblical Counseling Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. This is a valuable ministry here at the church, especially with the many challenges that we face today. Pastor Bob is also currently enrolled in Bible courses with the American Bible College.

Prior to his call to the church here, pastor Bob was an evangelist, traveling with his wife and children across the Eastern United States. "God has given to us a vision for our community, and a heart for the people of Golden Gate. What we are doing here is God honoring,Christ centered, and Spirit filled. It is our desire to reach out to our community with the Gospel of Grace, sharing the love of Jesus one person at a time."
